ANIMORPHS: Book 1: The Intruders

Elizan-Sherlet-Kalaber



A female Andalite that has crash-landed on earth. She has the morphing ability, and is looking for humans willing to take place in a battle against the yeerks. Her father was Axximili-Isgarrouth-Isthill, the last prince she ever knew. He was the one who gave her the escafil device. How he died? Only she and her mother knows.

A 14 year old girl who always runs away. She has been surfing the web when she found this website. Then...her whole life changed.

Name: Galanor
Bio: Galanor has known about the Invasion for a long time, and was already a member of the website before Elizan-Sherlet-Kalaber had posted her message. She is a normal - more or less - girl of 20 years of age, with no real life except on the internet. She was currently hunting for a job, but she stumbled upon an opportunity far more rewarding, and one that would allow her to help realize everyone else's dreams - to end the invasion.



I know that this character is essentially me, but there are subtle changes because I find it hard to RP myself exactly as I am, and besides that is slightly boring, ha. Note that “Kyle Henderson” is a made-up name; I am never going to reveal this person’s name, as he does not want the Yeerks to find him, obviously. Besides, Henderson’s story is as well different from the real one.

Forlin-Langor-Chulain: A young Andalite and a member of The Yeerks are Here. He lived aboard a research station with his parents. His mother was a scientist, and his father, a warrior. Something foul attacked the station from within, and his family’s pod was the only one known to have escaped. Earth was the only planet they could escape to, and thanks to time distortions caused by travelling at Maximum Burn to Earth, they did not realise until they arrived that the Yeerks were there. Forlin’s father died valiantly, fighting the Yeerks to give them time to escape. His mother was shot by a Dracon beam, but young Forlin managed to escape into the woods and was found by a human male named Kyle Henderson. This was in late July of 2009.

Henderson took the young Forlin to his home, where he kept him safe and secure. Once Forlin had begun to trust the human, he told him about the Yeerks, and what had happened to his parents. Henderson vowed to protect him, and he did. He also taught him much information about humans. Despite Kyle’s friendship, and using his morphing power to hide among humans and even interact with them, as well as floating on the thermals as a red-tailed hawk—a sort of testament to Tobias of the Animorphs—Forlin felt extremely lonely, and being only one person, he felt he could not fight the Yeerks alone, and he would not let Kyle endanger himself.

Elizan suddenly felt a deep, low hum and felt a rumble vibrate through her small dome ship. The bug fighters had struck her! She panicked. "Computer. Ship damage report," she said to the computer. "Ship struct in rear engine. Ship going down," the computer said firmly. Elizan quickly pressed some buttons, then waited. Suddenly she flipped forwards, and then was knocked out for 5 minutes. When she woke, she quickly got up and opened up the computer screen. She couldn't find the contact info, but she found something..."Computer. Ship status." Elizan waited for an answer. But no sound came. She did some 'experiments' to find out if the computer was alright. All she found was human computer stuff called Google. She spent what felt like forever testing it. Then she found out that humans used Google to 'surf the web'. She typed 'yeerk'. A page came up with something called 'The Yeerks are Here'. She spent 2 days searching stuff on it, then made an account: Elizan-Sherlet-Kalaber. She made a new thread called 'Fight Yeerks'. It said: 'Hello. My name is Elizan-Sherlet-Kalaber. I am an Andalite. I need your humans help. Please post your name and your description, and I will pm you of the meeting place. You will gain the power to morph. With it, you can help ight the yeerks.'
She waited for replies.



Claire surfed the webs after reading the first Animorphs book. She found a site called 'The Yeerks are Here'. She quickly made an account called 'Claireason'. She found a thread called 'Fight Yeerks' that was made by Elizan-Sherlet-Kalaber. "Weird," she murmured. She read it, then posted:
Name: Claire Anatique
Description: Short blond hair, deep brown eyes.
She waited for a pm from Elizan.

Elizan pmed Claire the place and time.

I looked at the place and time. It was in calgary, at an abandoned dump. It was a month away, so I could make it. I pmed Elizan back, saying I could make it, then hopped off to get a glass of water.

I checked my pms and saw that Claireason had replied, saying she could come. I turned my right stalk eye to look at the escafil device. It was a gift from my father before he...passed on, as humans would say. I still thought he was alive. When he gave it to me, he said fly to earth and protect this cube. I waited for more replies.

I waited 2 weeks, then posted a message:
Doesn't anyone else want to help?

I waited 2 weeks. At 2:15, humans time, Claire posted a message, saying:

Galanor had begun to browse The Yeerks Are Here, as she did most every day, when she noticed a most peculiar post. She read it, wary of the message. Though it sounded real enough, she didn't know if it could be trusted. But something did tell her that it was legitimate. Safe. Secure. And so she, too, requested the information that she required to become more useful to the Resistance.

She had done nothing more than gather information for the Resistance for the entire length of time that she was a part of it; she wanted to do more. She felt useless, powerless. She wanted to do something, not just sit at her desk and mope about being useless. When she'd read Elizan's message, it seemed like her wish was about to be granted. She waited, albeit impatiently, for the reply to come.

Forlin shut down the game he had been playing. Human games were primitive, but enjoyable. The game he had been playing was known as “Dragon Age.” In it, he had made a character—a dwarf named Lanzena Aeducan—and performed impossible feats as her. He had many other characters, including his main one—James Cousland—having played the game quite a while. But now, he wanted a break. He browsed the Internet, hatching his eggs on a Pokémon hatchery site known as GTS+.

And then he went onto The Yeerks Are Here. It was a site he had joined a month ago. He hadn’t been on it in a while, having played the video game for most of his computer time. He noticed a new thread had been posted titled “Fight Yeerks” and so he clicked on it, and read.

Throughout his time on Earth, Forlin had not met another Andalite. His hearts pounded, as he looked over the thread, at the replies. He would be angry if this was what the people on the site called a “poser”—someone not telling the full truth—or it could very well be a Yeerk trap. Still, if this was truly an Andalite with an Escafil device, then she could give humans the power to morph and fight, and it was a force he could join.

He frowned at the name, however. A female? It was still hard to stomach that, on Earth, females actually fought. Where he was from, females had been the scientists while males had been the warriors. Shrugging it off, he typed into the Quick Reply box:

Name: Forlin-Langor-Chulain
Description: I am a typical Andalite male of two Andalite years (14 Earth years).

If you are gathering a fighting force, I would be interested in joining you. If you are truly Andalite then I would be interested in meeting you.

He exhaled through his nose-slits, and clicked on “Post Reply.” If this was true, then he would have to alert Henderson. The human would be dubious, but he would understand how much Forlin desired to fight.

Elizan pmed the 2 other posters the place and time.

I look at the calender, and see that tomorrows the day to form a group. I see that 2 other people wanted to help, and I sighed with releif. I then got an email from somebody named Kalamer11. The message was:
"Hello, human. I am Kalamer11, a yeerk. Your mother and father are yeerks, i mean, 'controllers', so I would like to make you an oppertunity to-"
I stopped reading and deleted the message. I decided to 'run away' again and go into calgary. I broke into a car and made it automatic to start. I drove into calgary and crashed into a parking spot. Seeing as it was almost 7 o' clock in the morning, I waited. I fell asleep.

Galanor arrived at the meeting place two hours before the scheduled time. She looked around, wary of her surroundings, jumping at the slightest noise. She was ready, in case this was an ambush, to deal as much damage as possible to the opposing forces before they took her. But if it was an ambush, she was done for, no matter how well prepared she was. She tightened her grip on the handle of a pistol she'd brought, ready to draw it at the first sign of yeerk activity. It wasn't the only thing she'd brought, but it was the fastest to draw first.

She knew, though, that even if it was a trap, she was not the only one that had responded to the message. There would be other Resistance members joining the fight soon enough, if that was what would become of it. She eyed every animal that passed, wondering if it was the Andalite that had promised to meet them and give them the power to truly fight.

I went to the abandoned dump with the Escafil device in one hand. I saw a human sitting in an old couch, sleeping. I decided to wait for the others and not wake this one up.

I woke and saw Galanor and waved to her, then waved to the Andalite. "Hi," I said. "I'm Claire."

[shakoa]

I saw the pisto, in Galanors hand, then brought up my right hand, showing I come in peace. <Hello, humans. I am Elizan, the Andalite who promised to come.>

Once I saw the Escafil device, I knew that I could trust this Andalite. Everyone sat on the couch(not Elizan, of course) and waited for Forlin.

[Galanor Rosewind]

Galanor watched, still wary, as more arrived. Well, more like when she noticed that there had been a girl already there, asleep. She hadn't seen her until she'd moved. But what caught her eye more was the creature that had stepped out from behind some piles of trash, and it stole her breath. There, before her eyes, stood an Andalite. She had never seen one in person - even though she had known Forlin for some time now, they'd never met - and it was strange to finally see one in the flesh. This one was female, it seemed, and that caused her to relax a little. She didn't know of any Andalites, other than Alloran, that had been taken control of. Unless it was the Visser in morph. But then, how would he have aquired an Andalite female? It must have been true, then... the message. And Galanor was now seeing the face behind the name Elizan-Sherlet-Kalaber.

Recovering quickly from her shock, and removing her grip from the pistol's handle, she gathered the strength to speak.

"Isn't it dangerous, walking around as an Andalite? Here, unguarded? If a controller sees you, we might all be done for." She looked around the dump; indeed, it was deserted. It probably wouldn't happen. But there was still a fragment of a chance that it would. "I mean no disrespect, but it isn't wise."

<I crash landed back there, in that forest behind this dump, so I chose this meeting place because of it.> I moved my stalk eyes around. As if reading her mind, I said, <The visser did not know of how a female Andalite would be of great use. Therefore, I am not a visser.>
