I watched as Galanor acquired it, then, fully demorphed, took it and acquired it, setting it free. "An almost bird morph," I said, then laughed at my own joke, thinking I was the Marco of the group, but totally denied it.

Galanor watched as Claire pounced the rat. The girl was so eager to use the power she'd just recieved that she risked rabies to get it. Nonetheless, Galanor felt the same pull to discover if it had worked. The rat had scurried away, though, running to get away from the human that had so unexpectedly grabbed it.
So instead, Galanor dug through a few piles of trash and debri. Upon upturning a few loose concrete chunks, she found to her delight a small garter snake. Harmless, and in her opinion, cute. Before he could burrow down into a nearby trash pile, she grasped him gently around the belly, supporting his weight with her fingers. He didn't try to bite, but he did squirm and hiss quite a bit. But once she began to aquire him, he fell still, like most animals do. She concentrated on him, on taking his DNA into her, and she swore that she could feel it running into her fingertips. She let him wake up from the trance when she was done, and he slithered slowly back under the cement block that she had replaced for him as she had found it.
"Very cool."
She watched, waiting for permission to try the power, but it seemed that Claire had already started on her morph. She scowled slightly, dissapointed that she'd gotten a head start, but she herself initiated the change as well.
The first thing that she noticed was that she was getting smaller. But really, that's not what was going on. In reality, her legs had started shrinking, withering away. They became too weak to support her weight, and she fell onto her belly. She tried catching herself, but her arms had already dissapeared. She felt her spine stretch, and the rest of her legs dissolved. She stretched out like someone stretching a piece of taffy, her fairly tight clothes fading away as the change continued. It was strange, but she remained in control. She didn't freak out and demorph. She could feel scales beginning to trace their way over her skin as it darkened, and then they raised and became leathery. Her vision dimmed, but only slightly, though the colors became dulled and warped. Suddenly, she couldn't hear a thing; snakes don't have ears. Her face bulged out into a short snout, and her teeth mostly melted away except for a few which spaced themselves around her mouth and grew sharp and pointed backward. With a pop, her jaw snapped into a double hinge that allowed it to expand to swallow things much larger than her head. The tail grew quickly, long and thin, from just above where her legs had been before. And when the rest of the scales appeared, the morph was complete - aside from the fact that she hadn't yet shrunk. She was a huge - HUGE - garter snake. But then, the shrinking kicked in, and she did so rapidly, until she was little more than a foot and a half long. Now the morph was finished.
The snake instincts surfaced, but she forced her brain to obey. She didn't come this far to lose control. There wasn't much to press down on, though. The snake was calm. It wasn't hungry, or scared. It just wanted to lie in the sun and warm up.
<Very cool,> she said to both of the others. <This is very, very cool.>

((OOC: I was out doing combat training. I’d really appreciate it if, in the future, you would allow me time to post)).
Forlin had had to convince his friend that it was safe, and Henderson—who was, unfortunately, unable to join the fight due to the fact that he had family obligations—purchased a flight ticket for him, as well as a rental car. Forlin and Henderson had forged for the Andalite a human identity long ago. Now, he was able to use that 21-year-old identity.
On the trip, he ate a lot of peanuts and pretzels, sounded out every word and made the man sitting beside him laugh at his antics. He couldn’t help it. Words and foods were utterly irresistible, and the Andalite had developed, living on Earth, something called a sense of humour. Regardless, he knew when to focus while in human morph and he could pass for a regular person, for the most part.
He drove to the hotel in his rental car, but flew from the hotel to the dump which the Andalite had given him the location of. With keen red-tail eyes, he spotted the female Andalite, and some rather—at least, to the hawk—appetising rats and snakes. Suppressing his urge, he landed in a nearby. Not wishing to startle them, he spoke. <Hello,> he said. <I am Forlin-Langor-Chulain. From the forums.> Seeing the looks on their faces, he added, <The red-tailed hawk. In the tree.>
He hopped to the dirt, and started to demorph.

I watched, amazed, as Galanor became a snake(srry, fast typer. pretend we did the crow thing, and you a crow, or not). I realized I was so eager to try the morph that I forgot all about them. I waited for Galanor to demorph and try out a bird morph first.

((Sorry. We didn't know when you might be on next. D: ))
Galanor demorphed quickly, looking up at the red-tailed hawk in the tree as she did so. She finished up as fast as she could, and waved. "Ah, so Forlin, we finally meet. Well, sort of. It's Galanor." She smiled faintly, and then turned back to the others. She saw the crow that was being offered to her, and aquired it as well. Now she had two morphs in her arsenal; she was well on her way to mastering morphing. And now that she knew how it worked, she'd use it to the best of her ability.
"Wonder what it's like to fly," she wondered aloud.
((Sorry for my mega post. Got carried away. xD Morphing will be shorter from now on. no more descriptions.))

I nodded to the bird in the tree. <These are humans in morph. Sorry your late. I couldn't help but let them morph.>
I saw the red-tailed hawk in the tree, then couldn't control the excitement in me, then focused on a crows image in my mind. I saw feather patterns come along my skin and dirty swimsuit. The tattoo patterns became black and 3D, then a beak slowly showed itself. My fingers blended together, and a sheet of skin rolled out on both arms. The skin had feathers. Then my legs became stilts. I realized I still hadn't yet shrunk. I panicked in mid-morph, then re-focused again. My bare feet turned black, then became a crows feet. My eyes sharpened a little, then focused on a rat nearby. I fought the urge to show how a crow does it, then shrunk rapidly. The ground rushed up, then stopped. The mind bubbled up, and I stretched my winds and flapped. I slowly rose then flew forwards and landed on a couch.
(srry Forlin!)

<Hi Forlin!> I flapped a wing, trying to wave.
I had already gathered a different bird, a blue bird, but I decided to try a crow now. I shrunk first, then my arms grew, and my stalk-eyes dissappeared. my from 'hooved legs' shrunk in, then feathers grew, I grew a beak, and my ears shrink into my skull. my tail shrunk in, then became tail-feathers. I became a crow. <Nice mind.> The mind was un-settled at first, but it felt like flying onto a wooden chair, so I let it. <Calm mind,> I said calmly.

<I understand,> Forlin said, trying to hide the slight embarrassment in his tone. He had been late, and not only this but he was surrounded by two human girls and a rather attractive Andalite female. He finished demorphing, his stalk-eyes on the others as they started morphing, his main eyes on Elizan. He had a great many questions to ask her, though he didn’t feel like asking them right now. <Hello,> he said to the human-turned-hawk.
<It is good to finally see one of my people after so long,> he told her. He had felt so alone, even among humans. Humans, actually, were sort of his people. They had adopted him into their culture, and made him what he was today. He was as much human in mind as he was Andalite, or so he felt, having been with them for so long.
((I am on every day, don't worry about that, please...I just don't like being left behind.))

<I haven't seen an Andalite for a while, either. And you must be wondering why I, a female Andalite, would fight. Well, I have many reasons, like how I hate yeerks.>

<Plus, sorry your the only male here. Maybe the human males are too busy with their work. No offense, because I heard you live with a human. And don't ask me how I heard.>

I flew upwards, and into a tree. I found a worm, which I ate, and then searched for a rat, or a mouse.

((I understand.))
Galanor had likewise begun to morph the crow, and it was done fairly fast. The first things that happened - or rather, that she willed to happen - was the change of her feet and arms so that she had a crow's wings and giant saurian feet, with everything else the same. "Hey look, I'm a harpy," she commented, before concentrating once more. She shrank down, finished the morph, and cawwed loudly.
<This one is much different,> she said. <The mind is much more hyper. Curious. Perceptive. Mischievoius.> She flapped her wings once, hopping a few feet into the air with the extra lift, testing her wings.
