Leerans are amphibious creatures from the planet of Leera. Currently, Visser Four is trying to conquer this planet for the Yeerk Empire. Leerans are psychic, and capable of reading the thoughts and memories of those in proximity to them.

Don't let their appearance fool you - the Leerans are one of the most dangerous Controller races. You can't hide your secrets from one. With a Leeran around, the Yeerks don't need to interrogate or even infest you. As long as they can get you near one, it'll know everything that you know. And then everyone close to you is pretty much dead or infested.
Luckily, there aren't all that many Leeran-Controllers. Galuit, the Andalite who commanded the defense of the planet, utterly destroyed the Yeerk forces attacking it. He lured them onto the planet and blew up the whole continent, with uncounted Yeerks on it. Then his reserves dropped out of Z-Space, and he crushed the Yeerks from both sides. It's easily the biggest victory in years.

I mean it'll be harder for them to conquer it, since they can see the memories of being infested. But now its a problem for US. |

leerans have four arms can swim veary well can read thot and memories can regrow lost bodie parts they are cool but do to thier independents on water and liqwid a high temputer light in a dry place should kill them
