It's a little retarded on yrkh8r and Tobias Hawk's part, if you ask me. There are some Yeerks who have chosen to fight for humanity. Something to do with morality. Some people are like that, I guess.

We can't kill all yeerks - that is both impossible and inhumane. There are yeerks out there on our side! We just need to think about how we can stop them from infesting our race without permission - that is thier real crime. It's a difficult subject because although we are at war with them, they can't do anything about the way they live. Maybe if they don't get a host they would die.

no. there is no way to tell, not unless the yeerk leaves its host and you believe that the host has not been threatened or brainwashed into telling you lies.
