Um.....I think the Yeerks or "Gorox" Have inflitraated my favorite game! Heres the info, from SporeWiki. Their called the 'grox" Its just one less O. Im almost scared.

The Grox are a sentient species of cyborg aliens that are supposedly the most evil and hostile race in the galaxy. They are the most notable for their hostility, but are also notable for their asymmetric, weak, impish appearance. They have an astonishing number of colonies surrounding the Galactic Core, serving as an obstacle to the player. They are drastically aggressive and only seem to be able to live on otherwise uninhabitable T0 planets. Raising a planet's T-Score will make it impossible for the Grox to inhabit it and will destroy any existing Grox colonies on said planet. It is extremely hard for any empire to defeat the Grox, since their amazingly vast empire spans 2400 systems with more than 5000 planets. The followers of Spode believe that the Grox are the greatest evil, even more so than regular persons who reject the will of Spode, and only The False God That Will Come is hated as much as them. And since nearly everyone hates the Grox, most of the scriptures at some point mentions them as the most unearthly beings in the galaxy. All of the creatures in the Spore Galaxy follow particular archetypes, which cause them to oppose the Grox. The Grox are also unique in that that they do not belong to any of these archetypes, and no other empires can follow their philosophy in-game.




Possible False alarm? But as Vestara said, they have the best technology. So do the Grox. They know ALOT. So do the grox. I think the Gorox have an easter egg in a little human Game of ours; Spore. Wich you can be a Gorox. Cause you can create and evolve and have technology better than other races. CREEEEEPYYYYY

I thought that too when i first saw the name Gorox. Spore is a really good game - i should find my disc...
Plus, the Grox just look like slightly robotic teddy bears. It's hard to be scared of something like that.

IKR their cute. "ROBOTIC TEDDY BEARS OF DOOM!" And spore is awsome, "er" with GA. And darkspore! What do gorox look like? Cause I think humans second greatest game has been modified but the Gorox, something we dont like [like the grox] that many empires and/or civilizations [dunno what to call them] know of the gorox {now}[also like the grox] But mabey, like spore, we can be friends with the Gorox. thats what I always do in spore, mabey these Gorox arnt all THAT bad.

Nobody can ever be friends with the Gorox. Ever. It would be a waste of anyones time to try and you'd end up dead. There is no way to convince them to do anything against their programming. Gorox look like any species they integrate. For those of you who know me, I'm not scared easily. That's a huge understatement. The Gorox terrify me. Others should be afraid too. These Gorox are bad. Really bad.

If you approach a Gorox, it will do one of two things. It will kill you, or it will attempt to collect you. You'd better hope it chooses to kill you. As said above, there is no reasoning with it, no bargaining, and no convincing. And most of the time there's no stopping it. They don't know mercy or kindness. They don't feel regret.

They do what they do to get the best of technology and the best of species. The major problem with them is their tendency to experiment on other beings. They try to make the beings they experiment on into special soldiers. Super soldiers if you want to call it that. Perfect warriors. The Gorox are far better at bio engineering than any other species. But despite that they still mess up. When they mess up it costs lives. Everything they've done or will do is all a part of their greater goal to become masters of the universe. They're doing pretty good so far.

holy shit. If your scared, Im scared. Do thay have any weaknesses? SO I can kill them, if I ever meet them, hope I never do. Also, everything you've said relates to the grox. so Grox=Gorox, which means the gorox are on or near earth, and if they LOOK like humans, but are WORSE than yeerks, and cat be reasoned with, were screwed. Unless we can get to them before they get to us.

Hahaha. They have weaknesses like any other species. How to kill a Gorox depends on what kind it is. The universal way to kill a Gorox is to shut it down or, for lack of a better word, brain scrambled, by the use of EMPs. After that you can kill it. Simple. The biggest weakness they have is that they constantly rely on their technology. The weapons, shields, armor, tactical data, orders. Take it all away and they're helpless. The Gorox have been on Earth before several times. We can't get to them before they get to us. Nobody has ever done that. It's impossible. So, we wait. Hole up and wait for them to attack without ever knowing when that's going to be.

They aren't invincible no matter how much they seem to be. They're definitely not invincible.
