I have next to no knowledge of this species, other than that they allegedly somehow created the Yeerks. Since these creatures seem important in the current Resistance topics, I'd like to know more about them. I'm sure Vestara, or a few others, can tell me something. I feel stupid knowing nothing about them.

I don't really know. But i know that you never wan't to be tested on by one. This happened to me. Vestara explained they used something on me called X-5. It makes your worst nightmares come out. and you have visions of them. I don't know why, but i can't remember what happened to me very well.

Ok. I'll skip all the little details and just tell the basics. Nobody knows the origin of the Gorox but they absorb the technology and bodies of other species and integrate it into their systems. They turn you into one of them. They make you a slave to their programming, and then you're given an NIS and some orders and off you go. Ok so when they get their hands on new technology, they make it so much more. No matter what it is. Their fascinated with perfection. They have Chee technology, an Escafil Device, Yeerk bug fighters, human vehicles, structures and who knows what else now. During my time with them I was an Infiltration Unit. Like the Yeerks. The Yeerks weren't parasites originally as we all know. The Gorox found them, did whatever they did to make them that way, and then dumped them on a random planet to be left alone, and soon after found by the Andalites. Prince Seerow. Ok so, 6 standard Earth years after those events, while I was serving in the Yeerk Empire, we got an encrypted transmission. It said we had found a new species! We were going to study them. Fight them. Infest them. This new species was the Gorox. The Council of Thirteen sent in a small group of controllers to...negotiate with the Gorox. I happened to be one of the controllers that was assigned to that group. We had to treat these new aliens with caution. They were far more technologically advanced than any species we'd ever encountered. Even Andalites. So, the short story for this part is, we went down there, they "somehow" immediately identified us as Yeerks. Identified me as one of their own. A former Gorox. We told them we came in peace. They didn't buy that. But they allowed us to live among them for a short time. We traded technology, got new ships, and new hosts. The ones we took from them and made into controllers had safety systems in their heads. A Yeerk would take over, soon after that the Yeerk would...would die of a poison or a bomb would go off in the brain or...the Yeerks weren't prepared for that. So, we fled as soon as we could. Our team never told anyone what happened there. But we always wondered how they knew everything about us. How to counter our infestations. The Gorox went on taking species and technology and getting stronger. They went looking for us. They saw how far we'd advanced, how powerful the Yeerks were. They wanted to stop all the Yeerks. Take them back and then release them onto the galaxy again. But better than before. Armed and dangerous. They still want to do that. The Gorox have reached Earth. They've been here for about 2 months. In large numbers. They are abducting humans and...they're also interfering in human politics. Mainly Iraq. They are using Chee holographic technology to blend in with you.

That is everything I know about the Gorox. I have kept some information from you all about them, but that is personal. Unimportant to the main Gorox history.

Thank you, Vestara. That was very helpful.
As for humans, there's not much to say. You might get a better answer from someone else; I'm sort of out of favor with what we do. But I'll tell you what I know, and I'll try to throw in as little bias as possible. I don't know if I'll succeed.
The social structures of humans vary by region, but here in the US, we go by the belief that all men are created equal and have the same rights and privelages. While this for the most part holds true, there are still divisions in the pecking order, for lack of a better phrase. Upper, middle, and lower classes have different habits and living arrangements, and warrant different levels of respect among the community. Most human society revolves solely around the abstract concept of money. I'm sure you know, but in case you don't, money is a denotation of either paper bills or coins. Each piece represents a certain amount of gold that is stored in the country's treasury, even though the gold itself is not used in transactions. Money is used to purchase or obtain goods and services throughout human society. It is such an important concept that many humans are willing to kill each other to obtain it.
Much of a human's day consists of either working or going to school for most of the day. Adults and many adolescents work at various jobs. They work at places that help society to run smoothly, such as medical professions, the fabrication of goods, and the preparation of food. In exchange for their labor, they recieve money. Children and most other adolescents attend basic grade school for twelve to thirteen years. Some attend an extra grade during young childhood called head start, though it is not actually part of their academic learning. It's more like daycare. In school, young people learn the basics of sciences, mathematics, literature, language, social studies and history, some arts, and a few others. Children attend school for approximately 180 days a year, going five days a week and getting various breaks overvthe year that coincide with national and religious holiday events. Most schools are not in session over the hottest summer months.

Now, where did I leave off? Yes, school.
After the initial grade school, many humans attend additional school, where they recieve knowledge and training for the profession that they wish to pursue. They attend this college for varying amounts of time, which can be anywhere from two to twelve years, depending on the amount of training that the desired career requires. It is possible for young humans to go to work after only completing grade school, but the jobs available to them are much fewer. Some humans attend school and work in the same time period.
When we are not working, going to school, or sleeping, mostly we relax. Recreation activities include music, going outdoors (camping, hiking, fishing, etc.) browsing the Internet, watching television, or other activities. Television is something that originally confounded the Yeerks, specifically the programs based on science fiction, such as Star Trek, which features faster-than-light travel and advanced weaponry. When these programs were first encountered by the yeerks, they were believed for a time to be fact, then they were believed to be deceptions to frighten possible enemies, until the invasion progressed and it was discovered that such things were merely for entertainment purposes.
I think I've run out of ideas. Is there anything else you want to know?

In my human morph I attend a high school. But it is summer now so I don't go to it. When school was in session I was approached numerous times by humans. I was suspended from the human school for aiming a weapon at them.
