Ok, as most of you probably know by now, I'm a bit of an aspiring inventor. Once I get some money behind me and access to a workshop, I will start making prototypes and getting patents, all that sort of thing. The reason I'm doing this post is to try and get some opinions to help get my priorities right. I have a few ideas rattling around my head, and want your guys' opinions as to which order I should work on them in. Also, this is a thread where you can post any of your own invention ideas, especially if they would be useful against the Yeerks. I understand the rule of Seerow's Kindness, so I'm not expecting any Andalite help with solving the problems, but I want to try and create technologies that humans can use to fight, because, lets face it, humans are literally light years away from the technological advancement of Andalites and Yeerks.
Anyway, some of the ideas in my head are: -A small cube that supplies effectively limitless power/electricity -Teleportation devices -Anti-laser weaponry -Hidden blades (assassins creed style) -And I am rather keen on working out how to provide biological immortality, but I would say that is the most difficult.
So yeah, feel free to post your opinions as to what is most important to you, and if Im missing anything, then tell me what you think I should work on first.

I know A good one. I have been trying to invent this since the seventh grade. I knew what to do but I couldn't get the supplies for it. I thought of a gene splicer. It was a ray gun that you point at 2 people or how many you want. You pull the trigger and every person in the group turns into one person. It was a very simple process of lead metal and not much radiation. The radiation causes the mutation but I have to figure out how to control the levels of it. The lead protects the radiation power from the skin. When the beam is shot it releases protons which affect the molecules of every persons body and putting them together in one. There is also a reverse where you can split everyone up. That was a good invention in my hands. It seems like a good punishment for some people and they can see how they feel.

I would suggest the teleportation. It is a good thing. I kind of figured out a process. You know how sound travels by wires. Imagine if we could do that to a human. Break up their molecules and send them through a signal wave to get somewhare. Another way is to make this watch and when you press a button it does a signal wave of where you want to go and it breaks down you molecules and then you travel there. Once you are out of the sound wave your molecules come back together.

Cool idea, Shaz and good idea of yours Dan. I could help on making the hidden blades, Shaz.

Teleportation is definitely technologically possible. It's just managing to put all the pieces back in the right place. A sub-atomic particle was teleported from one place to another successfully. This is Quantum Teleportation. The seminal paper first expounding the idea was published by Charles Bennett and coauthors in 1993. It was first confirmed experimentally in 1997 by a group in Innsbruck and has subsequently been shown to work over distances of up to 16 kilometers. So working on a way to transport living multicellular things successfully will be a good idea.

Teleporting it is then... The main problem (as I see it) is that because cells are constantly reproducing, dying, and generally changing, it is basically impossible to make a perfect scan of a living creature. The solution I had for this a few years back was to create a cryogenic icecube surrounding the creature, then scanning it from a few cm beneath the outside layer. The cryogenic freezing theoretically will stop the cells from changing (temporarily) and will therefore allow a completely accurate scan to be done. Next problem that popped up was the fact that freezing things generally damages the proteins. Easy fix. Just make sure the freezing is snap freezing. By freezing things quickly, the ice doesnt have time to form the shards which damage the proteins. Next problem is the transmission of the signal. All the current human technologies that I have researched do not have a perfect transmission. There is always a tiny bit of information that is lost along the way. Perhaps the existing quantum teleportation setup has solved that, maybe not. I will have to research that further. Then the next problem is reassembling the information correctly. This is actually the part that I havent worked on, yet it is probably the most important. Lastly is reanimation from being cryogenically frozen. I think once the subject has been defrosted, perhaps an electric current may start them up? maybe mix it with some chemicals? Im not really sure. Oh, and one bonus problem... if you mess up the scanning and transmission, you may have the subject staying frozen in the original spot, but also have a clone of them where they were teleporting to. So you have two identical creatures running around... do you kill one? if so, which one? Or does it not matter if they are completely identical? Is it morally and ethically correct to kill a clone? I mean, its an exact copy of a creature, so killing it isnt a special case really, it would still be murder...
And that is my breakdown of teleportation (from my point of view). It wouldnt be a fast process (to start with) but it is, in my opinion, the most readily achievable way. (that is, until I heard about the quantum teleporter).
And thank you for your offer to help with the hidden blade, Moka, I shall take you up on that when I eventually meet up with you.

Oh, and the gene splicer sounds far to advanced for me to help with at this stage... Keep working on it though, it sounds awesome.

I thought of it and invented it. But I never built it.

I cant believe I forgot to add this to the list... Ive also been thinking about how to make a device that gives a sentient creature telekinetic abilities... Not sure how well it will work, but it is an idea I had.
