Emma sat on her rock watching the clouds go by. She wondered if they would be afraid of her if they knew the truth. She didn't notice when Laura approached.

"Hey, Emma," Laura said as she sat on the ground next to her. Emma jumped a little bit. "Sorry, didn't mean to sneak up on you. Is everything okay?"

Emma smiled and shook pinkies with her. Then she held up her arm and it transformed into a claw.

Laura's jaw dropped halfway to the ground. She noticed that it was open and she shut it. "Wow, that's cool..." she trailed off. "I guess that's how you made all the Hork-Bajir leave."

She smiled "Yeah. And how I fight so quickly. I can also run faster, and more strenght than any human. Its just the thing with my family." Emma said with a sigh. " Not that I have any family left. Humans fear the unknown right? Well, we are the unknown. So they kill us. Which is why I dont tell anyone. You're the only person I've ever told. All my family's dead. I've been alone for a long time. The reason that I had to hide in the cave was because of a part of the family curse. The seventh full moon of the year, if sunlight or moonlight touches us, or if we eat any food, we will go in a frenzy. We will transform into a mostly bear creature, and until the three days are up thats the way we will stay."
