Symoto Dan, I am Moondust, currently the only active moderator right now.
Welcome to the forum, if you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them. Your situation is a rare one, and with regards to thought speech, you can actually grow that ability, with the right practice.
Oh and from what I've heard of morphing, it is exactly like the books have described.

Yeah when I was little the word "Andalite" seemed like an everyday thing. This was way before I heard about the yeerks and animorphs. It was a funny word to me until I looked back on family history. Then wow... what an amazing discovery!

If you are the descendant of a nothlit, how do you have weak arms? A nothlit is someone trapped in morph, and a morph is DNA from some creature. As far as I know, DNA doesn't carry over in a morph; only the conscience of the person morphing. How do you have Andalite traits if you are (technically) human?

Why I posted "rare", is similar thoughts to yours, Unohoo.
Like what has been said, a nothlit is an Andalite who has stayed in one morph for too long, and the DNA has been accepted into the geonome sequence when the cells go through Mitosis. This means that the gametes in either of you parents (whoever was the Andalite to begin with) will have that of the human DNA that they aquired.
This means that very little, if any, DNA originally from the Andalite will be in their cells. Therefore, it completely reduces the chance that there will be any Andalite DNA in you.
I have a few suggestions on how you could have such abilities, but I want to see if you know.

It must not be the form of the body but when he morphed he kept the andalite abilities in his DNA which those traits lead down to me. Well really I'm not sure if he became a nothlit, I wasn't there with him. He could of married a human women in his natural form. Well my family histiry is hard to explain

Andalite DNA would not be carried. Tobias is an Andalite heditary, yet he showed no signs of having Andalite traits. He wasn't even an Estreen. Therefore, your plore is incorrect.
You, technically, don't have Andalite blood. Your Biological grandparents are of the human that was aquired, not the Andalite nothlit who was your parent.

I found someone on youtube with your exact name who said he was trying to get an account on here. He also said he was an animorph, not a andalite descendant. And tobias had no hereditary genes from Elfangor who was his FATHER, not a distant ancestor, so you wouldn't either.

But still pretty cool to have andalit ancestors. Still from my comment I wasn't there with him he could of been in natural form. but still where does my weak arms a though speech even come from if he was a nothlit?
