It would seem that through the past year, everyone has simply... left. In the banner on the home page it says that Fitey can no longer access the site, and Forlin and Galanor have taken over in his stead, yet those two have completely left. I emailed Forlin a few months ago and have yet to receive any reply. From what I gather, he is in college. Yet, don't you think that someone who has devoted a fairly large amount of time into something would at least return to it every once in a while? What about Galanor? I haven't heard anything from him since I actually first posted on this site a little over a year ago. The 'new' moderator, Moondust, hardly every comes here as well (from what I can tell).
These people, whom have taken such leadership roles, apparently don't care enough about this site to return whatsoever. I sincerely hope that I am completely incorrect about that, but I fear I may stand correct when saying that.
I myself, do not come here as much as I once did. The community here used to be extremely active; things were posted daily. Now, everyone just hangs around the chat. New people post occasionally, for introductions and to ask a few questions, but even then, after they've posted a couple times, they completely vanish.
Perhaps I'm being paranoid about this place getting quieter, and it's really just the same as has ever been. But where are the mods? Where did everybody go?
I don't know, and I don't have enough info to begin trying to answer these questions. Perhaps they've moved on, thinking that this is some part of their lives they decided wasn't good for them, I don't know.
All I hope is that we can return to the community that we were, but that is most unlikely.
