Meeting

We need a secure meeting place. Some of you have expressed interest in this cause, and I have met up with a few rebel Yeerks. We need to meet. However, in a neutral place, so we cannot be slighted.

Finding a meeting spot could be difficult, considering that the Yeerks seem to be everywhere all the time. Do you know of any countries/locales where the Yeerks are unlikely to be and are reachable by all the types of people we have here?

Exactly, that's why this could be problematic. So many of us are just kids who found out about the threat by accident or by putting two and two together. What are our chances of finding a spot?

For us Yeerks, the pool is sufficient.

Guys, I think we should try not to meet, it would be really dangerous as people on this site might be yeerks. I might be a yeerk! (I'm not, but there's no proof is there?)

No proof at all, which is quite the little problem. But at least we might want to use this place as an information highway, if nothing else.

So that we may all have information on how to avoid becoming slaves.

Oh, and Jo says that she thinks a good meeting place would have to be somewhere central on Earth (since we would all have at least some chance of getting there), but Yeerks are in all such places.

We could always meet on a mine-field. That way, if anyone attempts to attack another, we will all be destroyed. I once learned of an Andalite War-Prince who met with a Yeerk Visser in a mine-field surrounding a dead planet. An older alien race had left these mines orbiting the planet, and it meant that if the Dome-ship or the Blade-ship fired on one another, both would explode, because of the mines.

I have read that humans possess such devices, though they are a crude explosive device placed in strategic locations. There are a few in a country called Cambodia.

Though, I do not believe any of you reside in Cambodia.

I don't even know where Cambodia is! And many of us couldn't just get up and leave our homes like that. What would we do when we met, anyway? Nick some of the mines and storm the nearest yeerk pool?

Well, it looks like some of our number have weapons and possibly fighting skill. They must have methods of creating a resistance.

But it would be an extremely difficult task. The Empire likely has spies, just as Earth has its freedom fighters. And for some of the group it's absolutely necessary that any resistance attempts aren't traced back....

Jo suggests that meeting would help us figure out where we're going with all this, anyway. And possibly clue in who's for real and who's not, for people who can judge...

I can access anywhere from Louisiana to Alabama. Maybe Texas and Georgia and Florida. Most likely though would be Mississippi and Louisiana.
