Yes but thats not very likely either. And besides a Yeerks wouldn't be able to take over an Android at all.

it wasn't dead, erek and the other chee don't kill but the yeerk wasn't controlling him, he just had a yeerk in his head for the illusion of being a controller.

Yes Jakevstom is right, Erek was just keeping the Yeerk in a cage inside his head. When he goes to the Yeerk pool he creates a hologram that makes it seem like the Yeerk is comming out of his head when it really isn't.
