I don't know. We are few in number.

But roughly, like, are there five? Ten? Fifty? A thousand?

I will not divulge this info, for fear that you may be a Controller in the service of the Empire.

No offense, but we need all the help we can get. (We as in humans.) If jenn was a Controller she'd have tracked some of us down by now. Remember IP addresses? I know my computer sucks. Lucky I don't have dialup...but really, we'd like to know how many "friends" we have "out there".

ok i know i can't prove it but I'm not a yeerk Controller! I'm just btrying to help spread the word. and it would be useful to know as much as we can. Ok, can you tell us this? what % of the human poplution might be a yeerk? We figured it was about one in five in the cities, about one in fifty in general Western counties and less in the entire world. But it is virtually impossible to be any more sure.

Perhaps 40 percent.

No, no, no. Don't be foolish. It's much lower than that. Seven billion humans? .019% is a generous estimate. But keep in mind this is around 1,330,000 hosts worldwide. Almost all of them are in the United States and China.
