Vissers are the equivalent of Yeerk generals. The lower the rank, the more powerful the Visser.
Sub-Vissers are below Vissers, but follow the same ranking system.

hi i'm from London. My auntie is talking about someone called Mr Visser. She says he has to go to america to meet him and she wants my mum and us to come with her. i don't want to go because i think she is talking about a Yeerk!

Indeed, S0p41E, your aunt is a Yeerk. Or otherwise known as a Controller. Mr. Visser is a nick-name for Visser Three's human morph. Visser Three is an Andalite-Controller, and he is in charge of the assimilation of Earth into the Yeerk Empire.

How do you know all that, stargater2k? (it's amazing that you do but many of us find it very difficult to find out anything about the yeerks!)

I myself am Yeerk. I am a rebel. I will not tell you the name of my host, nor my own Yeerk name for security measures, and I am using a computer at a public library in which I have installed encryption software and am using a proxy. So, therefore, the Yeerks will not find me by tracking me.

Yes. There are those among us who feel that infesting unwilling sentient beings is not a way to exist. And thus, we are attempting to create our own hosts, ones that we can use without worrying about this.

No. Not all of us are evil. And none know of my rebel identity. I act as if I serve the Empire. If my identity were known, I would most certainly be brought before the Council. I have done many things that the Empire would not take kindly to, especially given my high status.
