It is from Close Encounters of the Third Kind, actually. But there is a race called the Skrit Na that look remarkably similar to this. Well, the "Na" part of them do.
They sometimes work with the Yeerks, but they are not actually Yeerks.

they aren't green, they're kind of a grayish color. and they are not from the planet Mars.

The Na also walk in a sort of stooped way, using one hand or the other for balance, similar to gedds but not as lopsided. but unlike gedds they can stand up on two legs if necessary.
