What your'e doing is energy transfer. Every creature can freely transfer and recive energy. It just takes practice. And unless you know what your doing, don't touch animals when your'e doing it. Someone did it to a horse, and the horse tried to bite off her arm. She had a huge bruise about the size of a watermelon on her arm, and teethmarks. It looked heck of a painful.

I'm a Leo, which is a Fire sign. But I also have a very good relationship with almost every animal I meet. Even the deer don't run away when I go out to feed them, but they do if anyone else does. Heh.
I can also sense spirits, but that's another thing entirely.
I believe in an ancient Native American tradition. Everyone has nine spirit guides; one for each direction. North, South, East, West; Left and Right (These are the strongest, or at least the ones that most interact with you, on a daily basis), Sky and Earth, and finally, Within. It takes time to discover what forms your spirit guides take. Ususally they are animals that are native to wherever you were born, but they can be others, and they can also take the forms of several mythical creatures. Or are they, if they can appear as spirits? Here's a quick list of mine.
North: Eagle
South:
East: Seagull
West: Bear
Sky:
Earth:
Left: Elk
Right: Wolf
Within: Dragon
One finds one's spirit guides by meditation. It's surprising how much strength that calling up your Left and Right guides can give you when you're in trouble, or when you're unsure of yourself. Just visualizing them there with you makes you almost fearless. I'll teach you guys how to find them if you want to know.

I have heard of spirit guides before. A healer I know says she uses them to help her. Thanks for the info, now I can question more about it. What I'm going to do is find my wizzards table and copy that in, it has info on your animal, planet, powers, tree, ect.
I would like to know how to call up a spirit guide, however, some of my friends might get angry at me for it....

Why would angry at you for it? they can not get angry if you want to know how to summon a spirit guide.

Note that they don't appear in physical form. You see them in what you might call your mind's eye. It's not just imagining that they're there... It's feeling their presence, and knowing that they are always around you.
First, get situated in a quiet place where you aren't likely to be disturbed. Outdoors is best, but indoors is fine too. If you are inside, put on some instrumental music, if it helps you concentrate, or nature sounds. (The ocean without gulls works well for me.) Nothing with words, though. If it's a song you know, you'll get distracted.
After you have found your quiet place, sit down and relax. Close your eyes. Just breathe, and listen to what is around you. Have the thought of which guide you are seeking clearly in your mind. For example, you might wish to discover your Within guide first. Clarify that. Seek it out. When you are focused enough, visualize your breath. See it as a light that you are taking into yourself. With each breath you take, the light grows stronger. It grows each time you inhale, until it fills you completely. Then, when you are full of that light and warmth, release it into the earth. Let it penetrate the ground, all the way to the core of the earth. You will see an explosion of brilliant light as you connect with it, blocking out every other sight. Then, it fades to black.
In the distance, a faint point of light appears. Go toward it. Bring it to you. When you are close enough, it should shape itself into a doorway. This door will look different to everyone, depending on what your mind shapes it into. Go through it. There will be another flash of light, and this time, you will descend into a world that is entirely your own - or, rather, your guide's. It will be a natural place, one of peace. This is where you will find, and speak to, your guide. It will be, most likely, the only animal that you see in this vision. (Also, they can be people, but this is rare.)
Be sure, when you are done speaking with your guide, that you thank it for appearing to you. Visit your guides often for aid, whenever you need it.

Cool. I have lots of instumental music. I use it to meditate sometimes. I also hold my healing crystals to help in meditation.
